Standard Terms & Conditions (T&C’s) for Keen Events 

• Any cancellation by the Participant(s), Two (2) days before the trek and/or any cancellation due to events of force majeure/natural calamities and/or any violation of the T&C’s by Participant(s)  won’t be eligible for any refund(s). 
• Event charges/fees are exclusive of any Insurance. Insurance is the responsibility of the Participant(s) & not Keen. 
• Consumption of alcohol, smoking, chewing of tobacco, intoxication of any kind and/or  any kind of any misbehavior/misdemeanor(s) and /or any action(s) causing any inconvenience  to other Participants(s)/third parties and/ or  any act(s) causing annoyance to any other Participant(s)/third parties and/ or  any act(s) causing damage(s) to any properties(s) are strictly prohibited on the Event(s) and will lead to the Participant(s) removal or expulsion from the Event(s) without any refund. Further Keen will not be liable in such cases.
•  Keen’s decision {including but not limited to the authority to alter the  Event(s)/Programme(s)/Route(s) without any prior intimation} will be final and binding to all Participant(s). No argument(s) will be entertainment in this regard. 
• PARTICIPANT(S)’s  SAFETY IS IMPORTANT TO US without any compromises  so Participant(s) should avoid dangerous Selfies, taking pictures at dangerous locations, wearing precious jewellery and such other precarious behaviour(s)  for their own Safety.
• Participant(s) are requested &  encouraged not to wander off/deviate from the trail, listen & follow the Instruction(s) given by Keen and wait for the entire group to join before moving ahead.
• Keen advises the Participant(s) to believe in Green Living and expects no dirty trails &/or littering &/or harm to the local heritage, population, flora & fauna etc..   
• Staying connected is advisable….. so all Participant(s) are advised to  always stay in touch and/or stay within the assigned group of the Participant(s)  to avoid unforeseen Incident(s)/Accident(s)/Mishap(s) etc. Keen wont be liable in such cases,  for any such behavior/deviation on part of the Participant(s).   
•  Keen is not responsible for any loss of any valuables/personal belongings/ luggage/baggage  of any Participant(s) and/or any Incident(s)/Accident(s)/Mishap(s) etc., and/or any additional cost(s) due to unforeseen circumstance(s) during the course of the Event(s) . No claims in this regard shall be entertained. 
• Keen  shall not be  responsible for any liabilities/loss(es) etc.  of whatsoever nature arising out of the Event(s) and all the risks and/or responsibilities and/or liabilities/loss(es) related to and arising from such Events shall be solely upon such Participant(s) and  Keen shall  assume no liability (direct or indirect) in this regard in any manner whatsoever, at any time whatsoever.
• Advisable Essentials (including but not limited to): 

For one day Event: Rucksack, trekking shoes, one time lunch (if applicable), water, torch, cap, personal medicines, extra pair of clothes (if applicable)  .

For overnight Event(s): Rucksack, trekking shoes, one time lunch/dinner (if applicable), water, glass, spoon, plate, torch, cap, personal medication(s), extra pair of clothes (if applicable), carry mat, sleeping bags, chaddar/bedsheet(s), warm clothe(s)/shawl(s) ( if applicable),  etc.

• Children wont be allowed as Participant(s) unless accompanied by their legal Guardian/ Parents and  Keen assumes no liability in any manner whatsoever  in this regard. 
• Every & All Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) including but not limited to the pictures, databases of the Event(s) etc. have and will lie, always  with  Keen.
• Any violation of the T&C’s would call for removal/expulsion from the Event(s) without any refund, at the sole discretion of  Keen.

•  Laws of India apply and  the Honourable courts of Mumbai will have the jurisdiction. 

*Keen means & includes not limiting to, its  representative(s) employee(s)/ associate(s)  or any other such designated person(s). 

*Keen Events means & includes not limiting  to,  any Keen Trek(s), Camp(s), Adventure Activities(s) , programme(s) etc. 

* All rights reserved & nothing contained herein shall be deemed to affect, restrict or prejudice any rights or remedies that Keen may have in the future with regards to the aforesaid, under the applicable law(s).
